Woods & Waters Land Trust and Inside Out Design celebrate 10 years!

Woods & Waters Land Trust is excited to partner with Inside Out Design this year in celebrating our 10th anniversaries together!

Established in 2007, WWLT works with landowners to protect forests and streams in the lower Kentucky River watershed.  During our first 10 years, we achieved national accreditation, permanently protected nearly 400 acres, and established a nature preserve within the Frankfort city limits.

Also incorporated in 2007, Inside Out Design has earned state and national recognition for excellence in its dedication to sustainable design, community involvement, and native landscaping.

The Land Extravaganza will take place on the grounds of Inside Out Design with a beautiful view of the Elkhorn Creek watershed.  The evening begins at 5:30pm with tours featuring rain gardens, prairies, and the live roof of the 100% solar powered IOD office building.  Dinner by Amazing Gracie's, Stone and Ember Bakery, and Cedar Ring Greens begins at 6:30pm.

The event features three bands:  Two are Jerry Hockensmith and Bethany, and Sherri Sebastian's dance band, A Twist of Fate.  We will have a silent auction, kids activities, a photo booth and a fire.  Cupcakes and ice cream by Crank and Boom will be available.

Advance tickets are $30/person. Deadlne for advance tickets is September 2.  Tickets after this deadline will be $40. so get your tickets early! Before Sept 2 we also offer four tickets for $100.
