Join Woods and Waters Land Trust as we tour the summer wildflowers in bloom at West Sixth Farm. Ecologist and WWLT board president Heather Housman will be leading participants on a 2+ mile hike through the farm's fields and forests to point out this season's blooms, share wildflower folklore, and discuss historical medicinal uses of common plants.
This free walk will cap at 20 guests to create a fun and informative experience for all. We will be hiking on hills and rough terrain, so please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes you don't mind getting muddy. Bringing a water bottle is also encouraged.
Children, as well as dogs on leashes, are welcome on the hike. There is no beer included in this free farm walk.
