WWLT has been spending a lot of time out at the West Sixth Farm this spring. On May 14 we hosted a Plein Air painting event with; 12 artists scattered around the farm. The artwork created that day will be sold by silent auction to benefit WWLT June 9th, 6- 8 pm, at West Sixth Lexington brewery.
This Saturday June 11 West Sixth Farm will be 4 years old! It will be a day-long celebration and WWLT will be there! Our chair, Heather Housman, will lead the “Twenty Trees” guided hike at 11 and Jennifer, our executive director will coordinate a art and nature scavenger hunt at 1 pm. Join us and stay for the rest of the birthday celebration at the farm, with yoga, the West Sixth Cantina, refreshments, and more.
Every Friday we meet at West Sixth for a casual hike. The club now has patches, earned after only 5 hikes with the club.
